“The house at 3018 Dumbarton Street was built around 1888 by George Green. In 1947, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter bought the house for $34,000. He was nominated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1938 and served on the Court until 1962. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1963. National Security Advisor and Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and his wife Nancy lived in the house during the Nixon and Ford administrations.”
