“The German Wine Society Capital Chapter pursues this single goal: to be the premier non-profit wine tasting organization whose sole purpose is promoting the understanding, appreciation, and knowledge of German wines. To achieve its goal and support its rationale, the Society is pursuing several objectives. These are to conduct tasting seminars and pairing meals to enhance the appreciation of German winest, o assist members in their continuing education about German wines, to facilitate a dialogue among members, wine growers, importers, exporters and the faculty of the German Wine Academy, and to provide information on German wine vintages, viticulture and developments.”
