Purpose: To cultivate and celebrate the German heritage, culture, customs and foster friendship among interested (German and no-German alike) residents of Sun City Center. We support special interest groups as well as our established social functions such as the Oktoberfest, Fasching, Christmas and Spring dinner-dances. We encourage the introduction or resurrection of other activities such as choral and folk dancing groups.
Membership: Membership and participation in the club is open to all residents of Sun City Center. The dues are $10 per person per year due in January. This membership gives special ticket prices for all functions and members may invite guests at a higher ticket price for most of the festivities.
Meetings: An annual meeting will be held in January, at which time the members present will elect the directors of the club. All other “meetings” are social functions including Oktoberfest, Christmas Dinner Dance for members, Fasching and a Spring Dance.
