“Designed in 1888 by the architectural firm Addison & Fielder, this National Registry Historic Building graciously blends old world ambiance and warm amenities. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by an architectural icon, crafted from red brick and carved limestone. The interior features two cavernous ballrooms, the Grand and Royal Ballrooms, each boasting a lavish Victorian architecture with vast thirty-five foot ceilings, hardwood floors, mahogany bars, immense inset gilded domes, original crystal chandeliers and fully draped twenty foot arched windows. Adorning the entrance to the Grand Ballroom is the world’s largest and most elaborate non-religious stained glass portrait. Originally crafted in Heidelberg, Germany, this breathtaking masterpiece was first exhibited at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a private residence.” (Choose Chicago website)
