The Roebling Bridge bridging Cincinnati, Ohio and Covington, Kentucky was built by Johann Roebling about a decade prior to him commencing the building of the Brooklyn Bridge. Today the Roebling Bridge still stands as an icon to the area‘s German-American heritage and to the emerging interstate commerce of the mid-1800‘s.
